HD-PVR2P
With the HD-PVR2P you can view 1 channel and record 1 at the same time. You can record up to 150SD hours (standard viewing channels) or up to 50HD hours(High-Definition channels). With the HD-PVR2P you can now experience amazing clarity & sound on your HD TV. The HD-PVR2P decoder also works on a normal TV, so if you feel you would like to have a system installed before you buy your HD TV, you can rest assured that it will work and you have the added option of recording any channel you like whenever you want.
Requirements Include:
- The NEW HD-PVR2P
- Complete Dish and LNB
- Cabling

XtraView System
Xtraview allows you to watch 2 different DSTV channels on 2 different TV's at the same time. This system works exactly like a Dual-view, but since the Dual-view was discontinued, this is the ONLY way you can still view 2 different channels on 2 different TV's at the very same time without paying for 2 subscriptions. with the Xtraview System you will only pay an Extra R65p.m to have the luxury of 2 viewing options simultaneously.
However, we do NOT recommend that you try to install this system yourself. There is a big possibility that you could blow-up 1 or even both the decoders if it is not done correctly. Certain procedures need to be followed to install the system correctly and professionally and for your safety as well.
With the XtraView system you will need the following:
- 2x SingleView decoders (only the new 1131(shown in pic above) & 1110 work for the setup of an XtraView System)
- Dish with LNB
- Cabling to the 2x decoders
- Heartbeat Cable (without this you'll pay for 2 subscriptions every month)
